A  -  Gel is a hard product that adds strength to the nail.  Shellac/gel polish is ONLY           for longevity of polish, NOT for strength.

Q  -  What is the difference between Gel and Acrylic?

A  -  Gel is ALWAYS in a gel form right out of the jar.  It is a running consistency up to          a hair gel consistency.

Acrylic is a powder and is mixed with monomer before applying to the nail.

GEL NEVER COMES IN ANY KIND OF POWDER FORM!!!!!

If you are getting "Solar Gel", "Bio-Gel", "Dip nails"...those are ALL ACRYLIC.                    Please do not be fooled or lead to believe otherwise.
